Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

This policy applies to service engagements with The Donahue Firm (also doing business as CJ Donahue and Litigation Logic).

Project-Based Engagements

Our services are provided on a project basis. We do not offer ongoing subscriptions, retainers, or recurring billing arrangements. Each engagement is individually scoped and governed by its own agreement.

Concluding an Engagement Early

If you wish to conclude a project before completion, please contact us in writing at accounting@thedonahuefirm.com. We will provide a final accounting of work completed to that point and any fees due, consistent with our Refund Policy.

No Recurring Billing

Because we do not bill on a recurring basis, there is nothing to “cancel” in the traditional sense. Payment obligations are tied to project milestones or deliverables as outlined in your engagement agreement.

Conclusion of Engagements by The Donahue Firm

We reserve the right to conclude an engagement at our discretion. If we do so for reasons other than client non-payment or breach of agreement, we will provide a pro-rated refund for any prepaid fees covering work not yet performed.

No New Engagements

The Donahue Firm is not currently accepting new engagements. This policy applies to existing active clients only.
